Assignment to complete: Temperature Conversion Practice 


  • Since we are starting weather, we need to know Fahrenheit for the USA temperatures and Celsius for the rest of the world! 
  • Today’s work is to practice those math conversions. Try your best! 
  • You may use a calculator. 
  • Since this is a pdf, you might have to type your answers in a separate google doc and send it back to me to grade. Some kids found a way to ‘fill in’ the worksheet and saved that and sent it back.

Monday:
BY FRIDAY: post your lorax paragraph, mineral research and honors science fair document to google classroom. I want you to practice using google classroom by posting some assignments we have already completed together. Practice uploading your work. Do not post in comments- I can't see it!

The assignment for today on google classroom is the Earth Resources (ER) table topics to review for the earth resources quiz eventually. It is on performance matters but I have to see if I will be allowed to release it and have you take it at home on performance matters. I'll let you guys know.

Tuesday: finish up your table topics review and earth resources test review sheet

Wednesday: rock layers activity 9 questions

make sure act. 9, table topics, timeline, and ER review sheet are all done. The answer key should post on my blog automatically you may just need to hit older posts

Thursday: work on your weather and climate unit word list and cover page

Friday: temperature conversion practice worksheet

This week in science class:
Monday: All classes: work on Earth’s resources group model and get it almost done! You will only have 20 minutes to work on it tomorrow. Bring it home for HW if you need to work on it.
Title: How does the Earth create resources and how do humans use them? Use your 13 questions and mini models and the gotta have it list to help you.

Tuesday: 20 minutes to complete models. When done, work on the “rest of the Earth Resources unit vocabulary chart” using the textbook.

Wednesday: finish the vocabulary chart and turn it in for a grade. Pick a mineral you like- Miss Klein has two books in the classroom you can flip through or use page 18 of the textbook.
Honors: procedure writing lesson (edit and revise your own procedure)

Thursday: mineral research on Chromebook
Friday: complete mineral research- print in color for extra credit!
