TRY TO WRITE A STORY- THE STORY OF THE EARTH

The earth has layers- We humans live on the crust- with the oceans and mountains. Deep below are the tectonic plates- in the lithosphere. These huge plates move because of the next layer- the asthenosphere. The asthenosphere has convection currents that move heat up from the core and when it cools it falls down. Making a cycle (circle). This convection forms a conveyor belt to move the plates. The mantle is the biggest layer, then the outer core and inner core. The plates can move toward each other, away from each other, slip past each other, even sub duct beneath each other.

A long time ago, a man named Alfred Wegener realized that all the continents fit together like a puzzle…….
